Order Certified Transcript

  • WHAT IS A CERTIFIED TRANSCRIPT?  A written transcript is the verbatim written record of a Court proceeding.
  • CAN I USE MY CERTIFIED TRANSCRIPT AS THE OFFICIAL COURT RECORD?  Yes, written transcripts can be used as part of the official Court record and can be used for appeal purposes.
  • WHAT IS THE COST FOR A CERTIFIED TRANSCRIPT?  After the request is placed, the recordings needed to prepare the transcript will be uploaded by the court. We will then provide you with an estimate for a 14-day turn, unless you specify a different turnround. You will receive an email notification to review the estimate and pay a deposit if you wish to move forward.
  • We offer the following options:
    • 30-day turn
    • 14-day turn
    • 7-day turn
    • 3-day turn
    • 1-day turn
  • WHAT IS THE PROCESS?   To request the transcript of a Court proceeding, simply complete the secure online order form on the right and submit the order. During the process of your first order, you will create a user account in TheRecordXchange. The court will upload the recordings and we will update your request with an estimated cost and request a deposit, which can be paid online via credit card.
  • WHAT IF I DO NOT KNOW ALL THE INFORMATION ABOUT MY CASE?  You can search and review the Minute Entry for your matter on the Queen Anne's County Circuit Court website by searching the Minute Entries at  http://www.courtminutes.queenannescounty.gov

    Case Number

    Enter the case number associated with the case name

    Judge / Magistrate

    Select from a list of Judges associated with the selected Case

    Check box if ANY portion of the hearing(s) listed has been ruled confidential by a Judge.

    Hearing Dates

    The Hearing Dates are mandatory. Choose the hearing date(s) of the recordings to obtain. Do this by directly entering the date in the form mm/dd/yyy or by clicking the calendar and selecting the required date.

    If you want more than one day transcribed, click ADD ANOTHER DATE and repeat the previous steps.
